Many exterior shots were taken at this location, including Bond walking from the hotel to the casino. The hotel is located very close the the building that doubled as the Casino Royale in the film. Grandhotel Pupp, a 228-room luxury hotel located in Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad), Czech Republic, doubles for Hotel Splendide in Montenegro in the 2006 movie Casino Royale.
